Ardmore Tigers (Ardmore, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cherokee Indians (Cherokee, AL), 14-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brooks for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 21. Ardmore will battle a Lions squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, AL). The Lions record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Cherokee falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 26. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 6-3. Colbert Heights lost 9-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL)
