Mississippi High School Softball - Clinton can't get by Bay

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Bay Tigers (Bay St. Louis, MS) softball team held off the visiting Clinton Arrows (Clinton, MS), by a margin of 3-2.

With the triumph, Bay moves its record to 9-5 on the year. The Tigers host Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS) to play the Pirates in a 4A Region 8 contest on Thursday, March 24. The Pirates come into the contest with a record of 1-5. Pass Christian lost 12-3 in their recent league contest against Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS)

In their next game, the Arrows play the Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 19. Clinton will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 5-1 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Red Bay (Red Bay, AL).
