Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bellevue Christian Vikings (Clyde Hill, WA), 18-11 in a non-league challenge.
The Lyncs now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Burlington-Edison for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Tuesday, April 12.
With the loss, Bellevue Christian falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Cascade Christian (Puyallup, WA) to face the Cougars in a 1A Nisqually challenge on Monday, March 21. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
