Virginia High School Softball - Bishop O'Connell nudges Greenbrier Christian Academy

Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators (Chesapeake, VA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Knights now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Elizabeth Seton for a Washington Catholic challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Bishop O'Connell will face a squad coming off a 13-3 league win over Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Greenbrier Christian Academy falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Gators host Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA) to face the Ambassadors in a Tidewater Independent challenge on Thursday, March 24. The Ambassadors enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
