In Saturday's non-league contest, the St. Paul's Episcopal Saints (Mobile, AL) softball team held off the host East Central Hornets (Moss Point, MS), by a margin of 7-6.
With the triumph, St. Paul's Episcopal moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Saints host Bayshore Christian (Fairhope, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league contest on Monday, March 21. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 2-4.
In their next game, the Hornets play the St. Martin Yellow Jackets (Ocean Springs, MS) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 21. East Central will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record.
