The East Lake Eagles softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Park Vista Cobras to 2 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, East Lake improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Hollins (St. Petersburg, FL) to clash with the Royals in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 22. The Royals come into the game with a record of 2-3. Hollins won 19-7 in their recent non-league game against Largo (Largo, FL)

In their next game, the Cobras clash with the Spanish River Sharks (Boca Raton, FL) in a 7A District 12 game, on Thursday, March 24. Park Vista will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Sharks come into the game with a 5-0 record after their 10-0 non-league win over American Heritage (Delray Beach, FL).
