Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hickman County Falcons (Clinton, KY), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Marshals now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Trigg County for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 21.

With the loss, Hickman County falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to South Fulton (South Fulton, TN) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 21. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. South Fulton won 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake County (Tiptonville, TN)
