The Hurricane Tigers softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Juab Wasps to 5 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Hurricane improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Tigers host Desert Hills (St. George, UT) to clash with the Thunder in a 4A Region 10 game on Tuesday, March 22. The Thunder come into the game with a record of 4-7. Desert Hills lost 12-3 in their recent non-league game against Bountiful (Bountiful, UT)

In their next game, the Wasps clash with the North Sanpete Hawks (Mt. Pleasant, UT) in a 3A Region 14 game, on Tuesday, March 22. Juab will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Hawks come into the game with a 0-6 record after their 12-7 non-league loss to Bear River (Garland, UT).
