Tennessee High School Softball - Sullivan East gets by Johnson County

The Sullivan East Patriots (Bluff City, TN) softball nipped the host Johnson County Longhorns (Mountain City, TN), 4-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Patriots (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Lakeway Christian Academy (Morristown, TN). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 5-0 record. In their last bout, Lakeway Christian Academy held off David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN), 6-2, in a non-league bout.
The Longhorns now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to West Greene for a 2A District 1 bout on Tuesday, March 22. Johnson County will confront a Buffaloes squad coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Cosby (Cosby, TN). The Buffaloes record now stands at 0-1.
