The Westside Warriors softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Melbourne Bearkatz to 3 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Westside improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Warriors travel to Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Monday, April 4. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 5-6.

In their next game, the Bearkatz clash with the Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 19. Melbourne will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Newport (Newport, AR).
