The St. Paul's Episcopal Saints (Mobile, AL) softball routed the host Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS), 12-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Saints (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against East Central (Moss Point, MS). The Hornets go into the non-league bout with a 8-3 record. In their last bout, East Central notched a victory over Oxford (Oxford, MS), 3-1, in a non-league bout.
The Chargers now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Grenada for a 5A Region 2 bout on Monday, March 21. Oxford will confront a Chargers squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to South Panola (Batesville, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 2-7.
