Pinckneyville Panthers (Pinckneyville, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Red Bud Musketeers (Red Bud, IL), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mater Dei for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 19. Pinckneyville will battle a Knights squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Alton (Alton, IL). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Red Bud falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Musketeers host Elverado (Elkville, IL) to battle the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Elverado lost 7-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Anna-Jonesboro (Anna, IL)
