Louisiana High School Softball - Port Barre nudges St. Frederick

The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Port Barre Red Devils (Port Barre, LA) and the host St. Frederick Warriors (Monroe, LA), saw Port Barre's softball squad nip St. Frederick by a count of 3-2.
The Red Devils now sport a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lafayette Christian Academy for a non-league match on Monday, March 21.
With the loss, St. Frederick falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Cedar Creek (Ruston, LA) to face the Cougars in a 1A District 2 match on Tuesday, March 22. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 1-1. Cedar Creek lost 4-3 in their recent non-league match against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA)
