In Saturday's non-league contest, the Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV), by a margin of 8-0.
With the triumph, Sissonville moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Indians travel to Scott (Madison, WV) to play the Skyhawks in a Cardinal contest on Tuesday, March 22. The Skyhawks come into the contest with a record of 1-0. Scott won 8-7 in their recent non-league contest against Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV)
In their next game, the Vikings play the Ravenswood Red Devils (Ravenswood, WV) in a Little Kanawha contest, on Monday, March 21. Ripley will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Red Devils come into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 15-0 league win over Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV).
