The Eugene Eagles baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Cole Camp Blue Birds to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their match against St. Elizabeth (St. Elizabeth, MO). The Hornets go into the Class 1 District 9 match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, St. Elizabeth was overwhelmed by Iberia (Iberia, MO), 6-1, in a non-league match.

The Blue Birds (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Sherwood (Creighton, MO). The Marksmen go into the Class 3 District 14 match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Sherwood was overwhelmed by Holden (Holden, MO), 10-5, in a league match.
