The St. Joseph Christian Lions baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Tarkio Indians to 1 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions (3-0) will now prepare for their match against DeKalb (DeKalb, MO). The Tigers go into the Class 1 District 15 match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, DeKalb ran past Tina-Avalon (Tina, MO), 9-6, in a non-league match.
The Indians (0-1) will now prepare for their match against North Andrew (Rosendale, MO). The Cardinals go into the Class 1 District 16 match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, North Andrew was overwhelmed by North Platte (Dearborn, MO), 17-2, in a non-league match.
