The Patriots now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apex for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. Apex Friendship will face a Cougars squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Clayton falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Comets host Cleveland (Clayton, NC) to face the Rams in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
