In Tuesday's league test, the host Avon Eagles lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Strongsville Mustangs.
The Eagles now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westlake for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 26. Avon will face a Demons squad coming off a 19-5 non-league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, OH). The Demons record now stands at 0-2.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Anthony Wayne Generals (Whitehouse, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 23. Strongsville will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Generals come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 10-6 non-league loss to St. Francis de Sales (Toledo, OH).
