Cypress Bay Lightning (Weston, FL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Taravella Trojans (Coral Springs, FL), 9-6 in a league battle.

The Lightning now have a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host South Plantation for a Independent battle on Wednesday, March 20. Cypress Bay will clash with a Paladins squad coming off a 22-7 non-league loss to Cardinal Gibbons (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Paladins record now stands at 5-7.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Westminster Academy Lions (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 20. Taravella will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 18-3 non-league win over Cooper City (Cooper City, FL).
