North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Mountain Island Charter drops to Watauga

The Mountain Island Charter Raptors lacrosse squad (Mt. Holly, NC), was overwhelmed 13-3 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC)

Coming up next, the Pioneers confront the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills contest, on Thursday, March 21. Watauga will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 0-6 record after their 18-3 league loss to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).

The Raptors now sport a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Legion Collegiate Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, March 22. Mountain Island Charter will confront a Lancers squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Trinity Collegiate (Darlington, SC). The Lancers record now stands at 5-5.
