Louisiana High School Softball - Byrd thwarted by Natchitoches Central

The Byrd Yellow Jackets softball team (Shreveport, LA), was routed 17-4 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Natchitoches Central Chiefs (Natchitoches, LA)

Coming up next, the Chiefs clash with the Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA) in a 5A District 1 test, on Wednesday, March 20. Natchitoches Central will attempt to improve on its 12-11 season record. The Cowboys come into the test with a 2-20 record after their 16-0 league loss to Airline (Bossier City, LA).

The Yellow Jackets (3-16) will now prepare for their test against Benton (Benton, LA). The Tigers come into the 5A District 1 test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Benton overcame Haughton (Haughton, LA), 6-3, in a league test.
