The Clint Lions softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Irvin Rockets to 2 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Clint moves its record to 6-14 on the year. The Lions travel to Mountain View (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Lobos in a 4A Region I District 2 game on Friday, March 22. The Lobos come into the game with a record of 7-8. Mountain View won 21-6 in their recent non-league game against Bel Air (El Paso, TX)

In their next game, the Rockets clash with the Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX) in a 4A Region I District 1 game, on Friday, March 22. Irvin will attempt to move on its 3-11 season record. The Rangers come into the game with a 7-16 record after their 21-2 non-league loss to El Paso (El Paso, TX).
