Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Clinton Maroons (Clinton, IL), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morton for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 20. Olympia will battle a Potters squad coming off a 22-4 non-league loss to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL). The Potters record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Clinton falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to MacArthur (Decatur, IL) to battle the Generals in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 20. The Generals enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. MacArthur lost 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Springfield (Springfield, IL)
