The Crowley Gent softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host St. Martinville Tigers to 4 in the Gent league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Crowley moves its record to 6-9 on the year. The Gent host Kaplan (Kaplan, LA) to play the Pirates in a 3A District 5 game on Thursday, March 21. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 18-3. Kaplan lost 4-1 in their recent non-league game against Southside (Youngsville, LA)

In their next game, the Tigers play the Cecilia Bulldogs (Cecilia, LA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 21. St. Martinville will attempt to move on its 2-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 7-12 record after their 13-1 league win over Livonia (Livonia, LA).
