Prosser Mustangs (Prosser, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Eisenhower Cadets (Yakima, WA), 17-11 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Valley for a 2A CWAC challenge on Wednesday, April 10.

With the loss, Eisenhower falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cadets host Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA) to battle the Wildcats in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 challenge on Friday, March 22. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Eastmont lost 10-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Hanford (Richland, WA)
