The Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns routed the visiting Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Cajuns (14-1) will now prepare for their battle against New Orleans Charter Science & Math (New Orleans, LA). The Chambered Nautilus go into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, New Orleans Charter Science & Math was routed by Livingston Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA), 28-9, in a league battle.
The Bobcats now sport a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Kennedy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 20. Frederick A. Douglass will battle a Cougars team coming off a 16-1 league loss to Ursuline Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-5.
