Hamilton Titans (West Hancock, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting West Prairie/Bushnell-Prairie City Sparclones (Sciota, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty for a West Central challenge on Thursday, March 21. Hamilton will face a Eagles squad coming off a 17-15 league win over Rushville-Industry (Rushville, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, West Prairie/Bushnell-Prairie City falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Sparclones travel to Brimfield (Brimfield, IL) to face the Indians in a Prairieland challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 3-1.
