The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Loreauville Tigers (Loreauville, LA) and the visiting Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA), saw Loreauville's softball squad nip Lafayette by a count of 6-4.

The Tigers now sport a 19-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy for a 2A District 8 match on Monday, March 25. Loreauville will face a Eagles squad coming off a 19-4 league loss to Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Lafayette falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Southside (Youngsville, LA) to face the Sharks in a 5A District 3 match on Thursday, March 21. The Sharks enter the match with a record of 13-7. Southside won 4-1 in their recent non-league match against Kaplan (Kaplan, LA)
