The Lincoln-Way East Griffins routed the host Plainfield North Tigers softball squad by a final score of 9-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Griffins (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Foxes go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Yorkville was routed by Kaneland (Maple Park, IL), 8-4, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Downers Grove South for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 20. Plainfield North will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-8 non-league loss to Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-1.
