PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays (Petersburg, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Routt Catholic Rockets (Jacksonville, IL), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bluejays now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lanphier for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 20. PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central will battle a Lions squad coming off a 15-13 league win over Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Routt Catholic falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Rockets host North Greene (White Hall, IL) to battle the Spartans in a Western Illinois Valley - South challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 0-3.
