The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA) and the host St. Katharine Drexel Yellowjackets (New Orleans, LA), saw St. Martin's Episcopal's softball squad achieve victory over St. Katharine Drexel by a count of 19-0.
The Saints now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy for a non-league match on Thursday, March 21. St. Martin's Episcopal will face a Swamp Owls team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA). The Swamp Owls record now stands at 7-7.
The Yellowjackets (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Abramson (New Orleans, LA). The Commodores come into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Abramson was routed by Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA), 18-2, in a league test.
