New Mexico High School Baseball - Rio Rancho holds off Albuquerque Academy

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Rio Rancho Rams baseball team scored a close 12-8 win over the Albuquerque Academy Chargers.
The Rams (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Eldorado nudged St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM), 15-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the Chargers play the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 20. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Sartans go into the game with a 3-7 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM).
