North Carolina High School Baseball - Cardinal Gibbons held off by Apex Friendship

The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders baseball squad (Raleigh, NC), 10-8 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC)

With the triumph, Apex Friendship moves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Green Hope (Cary, NC) to confront the Falcons in a Southwest Wake 4A contest on Thursday, March 20. The Falcons come into the contest with a record of 3-6. Green Hope lost 12-1 in their recent non-league contest against Laney (Wilmington, NC)

The Crusaders now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Enloe for a Cap Six 4A contest on Friday, March 21. Cardinal Gibbons will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-6.
