North Carolina High School Baseball - Ayden - Grifton defeats Pamlico County

March 19, 2025: Ayden, NC 28513

The Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) baseball the visiting Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC), 6-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Farmville Central for a Eastern Plains 2A challenge on Friday, March 21. Ayden - Grifton will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 5-0 league win over Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Pamlico County drops to 2-6 on the year. The Hurricanes travel to Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC) to clash with the Devil Pups in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A challenge on Thursday, March 20. The Devil Pups go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Lejeune lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against North Duplin (Calypso, NC)
