Virginia High School Baseball - Yorktown edges Bishop O'Connell

In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Yorktown Patriots baseball team scored a close 7-4 win over the Bishop O'Connell Knights.
The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons go into the Liberty game with a 1-1 record.
Next, the Knights play the DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) in a Washington Catholic game, on Friday, March 21. Bishop O'Connell will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Stags go into the game with a 5-1 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD).
