The Southeast Guilford Falcons baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Cornerstone Charter Cardinals to 1 in the Falcons non-league win on Wednesday.

The Falcons now hold a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Ragsdale for a Metro 4A test on Friday, March 21. Southeast Guilford will play a Tigers team coming off a 4-3 league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 6-3.

With the defeat, Cornerstone Charter drops to 6-3 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC) to play the Falcons in a Northwest Piedmont 1A test on Friday, March 21. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 3-4. Leadership Academy lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC)
