The Crescent Tigers baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Pickens Blue Flame to 2 in the Tigers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Tigers now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenwood Christian for a non-league test on Friday, March 21. Crescent will play a Hawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Dixie (Due West, SC). The Hawks record now stands at 5-6.

With the defeat, Pickens drops to 1-8 on the year. The Blue flame travel to Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. The Hurricanes go into the test with a record of 6-5. Greenville Hurricanes lost 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC)
