The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) and the visiting Divine Child Falcons (Dearborn, MI), saw South Lyon East's baseball team gain a win over Divine Child by a tally of 9-2.
The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI). The Vikings enter the Lakes Valley battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Walled Lake Central held off Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI), 9-6, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Falcons face the University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs (Detroit, MI) in a Catholic Central battle, on Saturday, March 22. Divine Child will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
