Texas High School Baseball - Valley View edges Economedes

The Valley View Tigers (Pharr, TX) baseball the host Economedes Jaguars (Edinburg, TX), 11-9 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hidalgo for a 4A Region IV District 32 challenge on Friday, March 21. Valley View will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 12-3 league win over La Feria (La Feria, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 7-5.

With the defeat, Economedes drops to 4-13 on the year. The Jaguars host Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX) to clash with the Cougars in a 6A Region IV District 31 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 2-16. Edinburg North lost 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Hanna (Brownsville, TX)
