The Karns Beavers baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Giles County Bobcats to 0 in the Beavers non-league win on Wednesday.
The Beavers now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mosley for a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. Karns will clash with a Dolphins team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over McMinn Central (Englewood, TN). The Dolphins record now stands at 7-7.
With the defeat, Giles County drops to 3-5 on the year. The Bobcats travel to McMinn County (Athens, TN) to clash with the Cherokees in a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. The Cherokees go into the test with a record of 5-2. McMinn County lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Chiles (Tallahassee, FL)
