In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Rattan Rams (Rattan, OK) baseball squad edged the host Hilldale Hornets (Muskogee, OK), by a tally of 4-3.
Next up, the Rams encounter the Hartshorne Miners (Hartshorne, OK) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 24. Rattan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Miners enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Sallisaw (Sallisaw, OK).
The Hornets (8-2) will now prepare for their bout against Poteau (Poteau, OK). The Pirates enter the 4A District 2 bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Poteau edged Talihina (Talihina, OK), 11-6, in a non-league bout.
