In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Jack Britt Buccaneers baseball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Westover Wolverines.

The Buccaneers (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Bears go into the United Eight 3A/4A game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Gray's Creek knocked off Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC), 22-0, in a league game.

Next, the Wolverines play the Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC) in a All American 3A/4A game, on Friday, March 21. Westover will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 1-7 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Union Pines (Cameron, NC).
