The James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) lacrosse nudged the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA), 14-13 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Warhawks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Potomac for a non-league outing on Friday, March 21. James Madison will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 14-12 non-league loss to Riverside (Leesburg, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Meridian falls to 0-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA) to face the Titans in a non-league outing on Monday, March 24.
