The University School of Nashville Tigers lacrosse squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting Pope John Paul II Knights to 7 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tigers now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. George's for a non-league outing on Friday, March 21. University School of Nashville will face a Gryphons squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Bartlett (Bartlett, TN). The Gryphons record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Pope John Paul II falls to 0-5 on the year. The Knights host Bearden (Knoxville, TN) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 22. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 6-1. Bearden won 12-6 in their recent league outing against Science Hill (Johnson City, TN)
