The Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) baseball got by the visiting Apex Cougars (Apex, NC), 1-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Storm now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Southeast Raleigh for a challenge on Friday, March 21. Willow Spring will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 20-0 non-league loss to Cleveland (Clayton, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Apex drops to 5-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Panther Creek (Cary, NC) to clash with the Catamounts in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20. The Catamounts go into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Panther Creek lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wakefield (Raleigh, NC)
