North Carolina High School Baseball - South Mecklenburg defeats Davie

March 19, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28210

The South Mecklenburg Sabres baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Davie War Eagles to 3 in the Sabres non-league win on Wednesday.

The Sabres now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Palisades for a non-league test on Friday, March 21. South Mecklenburg will play a Pumas team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Pumas record now stands at 3-7.

With the defeat, Davie drops to 6-4 on the year. The War eagles travel to East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, March 21. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 1-5. East Forsyth lost 9-1 in their recent non-league test against Southern Alamance (Graham, NC)
