The South Aiken Thoroughbreds soccer squad scored 7 points and held the host Airport Eagles to 1 in the Thoroughbreds league victory on Wednesday.

The Thoroughbreds now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeside for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 22. South Aiken will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Greenbrier (Evans, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Airport moves to 2-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Providence Athletic Club (Columbia, SC) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, March 21. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Providence Athletic Club lost 4-1 in their recent non-league bout against Richland Northeast (Columbia, SC)
