South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, South Effingham advances its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Pierce County (Blackshear, GA) to clash with the Bears in a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. The Bears come into the test with a record of 0-2.

The Sharks now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Southeast Bulloch for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 26. Islands will clash with a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 0-2.
