North Carolina High School Softball - Triton sneaks past Cape Fear

In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Triton Hawks softball team scored a tight 17-16 win over the Cape Fear Colts.
The Hawks (3-0) will now prepare for their match against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Trojans come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, South Johnston was nipped by Cleveland (Clayton, NC), 17-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Colts confront the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 21. Cape Fear will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 2-1 record after their 17-1 non-league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC).
