The Douglas Tigers triumphed over the visiting Carson Senators softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) in a challenge, on Monday, March 31. Douglas will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.

The Senators (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Miners enter the challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Bishop Manogue was routed by Douglas (Minden, NV), 17-2, in a non-league challenge.
